As It Is in Heaven (Part Two)

During the previous podcast, I spoke of our summer vacation to Hawaii. A trip I’ve wanted to take for years and one that was definitely not disappointing. In fact, as Holy Spirit usually does, continually amazing me spinning things in God’s direction by unveiling the Truth at every opportunity – what a magnificent blessing to be made Aware the Loving kindness of God is Outpoured Here on earth As it is in heaven. What an Aloha He shares with us.

I had spoken of these two excursions we took – a tour of the Big Island where Henry shared the deeper meaning of ALOHA and the second a Laua where once again we were made aware of the importance of love and family and history. Even on my return home my thoughts and spirit were so stirred up I had to investigate. I hope your interest is stirred by this sampling of the discoveries I’ve made.

First of all, to better understand both the linguistic and spiritual roots of ALOHA, the word can be divided into two sacred parts:

  • ALO: Meaning “In the presence of” or “To share”
  • HA: Meaning the “Breath of life” or the divine essence of one’s being
  • When someone extends Aloha to another, they are spiritually choosing to “Share the divine breath of life” in their presence. It is an acknowledgement that our life forces are interconnected

There is also a Triadic Spiritual Alignment of love and connection known as:

  • Aloha Akua (Ah-kwah) – Love, honor and connection directed toward the divine spiritual source
  • Aloha Aina (Eye-nuh) – deep spiritual reverence and love for the land and nature. Humans are viewed as stewards rather than owners
  • Aloha Kanaka (Kaa-nuh-kaa) – The unconditional love, compassion and horizontal connection shared between human beings

Another foundation concept of the ALOHA is the Coordination of Mind and Heart within each person. It is described as a force that brings a person back to their true self, enabling them to “Hear what is not said, to see what cannot be seen, and to know the unknowable.”

It is our heavenly Father’s will to bring us back to Himself so we can partake in the Divine nature, so we can discovery our true identity. Yes, God’s desire is to bring us back to our true self so we would emulate Jesus and follow His Word knowing, believing and living as a child of the Most High. So we would know who we are in Christ, for Jesus has bestowed to us not just an inheritance of eternal life, but a heritage that goes as far back as Adam. Why? Because knowing our history, understanding our heritage is so very important.

When God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – become as essential, as necessary, are exalted to the most important relationships in our lives – we don’t have to see that pillar of fire to know, to feel, to experience the manifest presence, the glorious Shekinah presence of God. We don’t have to wait for times, for mere moments to be made aware of our heavenly Father’s presence, for He dwells within our inner being. We can stir up the gift of God, which is in us reminding ourselves God did not give us a spirit of fear. Our heavenly Father has given us His Holy Spirit, a Spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind.

So let me ask, how do we get to this place in our fellowship with God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – when we’re not empowering people and circumstance and the uncertainty this produces. Consider this, ultimately, we empower uncertainty then struggle to cope with what it yields – suspicion, doubt, anxiety, skepticism, distrust, concern, worry, fear, anguish…all of which affects the well-being of every aspect of our lives – emotionally, cognitively, physically, financially, sexually, spiritually – when we do what comes naturally focus on self and our troubles.

The answer is simple, but oh so challenging for we must train ourselves, we must discipline ourselves to embrace the Truth, to follow the Way, to respect and honor and obey the Life of the One, Who is the Word, Who in the beginning was with God! The Word Who is God (John 1:1), for only Jesus can make our heart right with our heavenly Father. As Romans 2:29 tells us: God is looking for those willing to change their heart, their mind. Whoever has that kind of change in their life will surely get their praise from God.

So, I say Aloha with the hope it’s deeper meaning of love brings glory to our heavenly Father, Who has sealed our spiritual being with His Spirit so we can embrace and prosper in this resurrection life He bestows knowing who we really are a child of God. So, not just our words but our actions, our choices would proclaim the life we live in this earthly body, we are living by faith, trusting in the Son of God, Who loves us, Who gave Himself for you and for me (Galatians 2:20) so we would know God is Love, and we can confidently put our trust in the love He has for us.

Father, consider our threats
And enable Your servants to speak Your Word
With great boldness.
Stretch out Your hand, Father, to heal
And perform miraculous signs and wonders
Through the name of Your holy and precious
Servant Jesus
Acts 4:29
