Rise From Slumber: Embrace the Light of Christ

Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you (Ephesians 5:14). For the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, that we may know Him Who is true (1 John 5:21a).

The Spirit of God, Who continues to hover over the darkness on the earth says, “Come”, and let those who hear say “Come!” Revelation 22:17. For no one comes to the Lord unless the Spirit of God draws them (John 6:44). And no one comes to the Father except through His Son (John 14:6a).

Through the miraculous power of Holy Spirit, God shines the Light of heaven in our heart so the Truth can be known, for God’s judgment is based on Truth (Romans 2:2).

Through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed (Acts 13:38).

Yes, through what His Son did, God cleared a path for everything to come to Him – all things in heaven and on earth – for Christ’s death on the cross has made peace with God for all – by His blood (Colossians 1:20 TLB). Hebrews 10:17 tells us God said:

“This is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins. I will put My Word in their heart, and I will write the Truth on their mind. Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”

However, refusing to believe in the One true God, the Light of the World, is sin that leads to Death (1 John 5:16).

Praise God! For His Spirit is hovering over the darkness to bring us into the Light so the Lord’s righteousness would not only be seen, but through faith we might become the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). A righteousness that comes from above out of our sight and control, available to anyone, to everyone because this is where Jesus is with the Father (John 16:10 Message).

Praise God! For Mercy triumphs over judgment! James 2:13. Though we all were darkness, the Spirit of God works within us to produce the fruit of Light, which consists of ALL Goodness, Truth and Righteousness so what is pleasing to the Lord can be known (Ephesians 5:9-10). There will be a day of judgment when people will have to give an account for every careless word they have spoken.

By our words we will be acquitted and by our words we will be condemned (Matthew 12:36-37).

But God! Our heavenly Father so loved the world He gave His Word, that whoever believes in the true Light shall not perish but have eternal Life. God did not send His Son to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him (John 3:16-17). And in regard to judgment, the ruler, the evil genius, the prince of this world, Satan, IS judged and condemned and sentence is already passed upon him (John 16:11 AMP).

The Spirit of Truth, the Water of Life, and the Blood of Christ are in agreement and give this testimony: God has given us eternal Life, and this life is in His Son (1 John 6&12).

Lord, stretch out Your hand to heal
And perform miraculous signs and wonders
Through the name of Your holy servant Jesus
Acts 4:29-30
