Yes, the god of this age blinds the minds of mankind, but I pray those who are complacent to the Power of God and suppress the Truth would turn from what is in the world – the lust of the flesh (cravings for sensual gratification), the lust of the eyes (greedy longings of the mind), and the pride of life (assurance in one’s own resources or in the stability of earthly things) – these do not come from our heavenly Father (1 John 2:16 AMP) instead, from the father of lies (John 8:44).
Thank God, we no longer have to remain in bondage under the elements (principles, philosophies, standards…) of the world. We can learn how the elements of this world bring about Codependency, People Pleasing, Emotional Traumas, Depression….
We can stop berating and belittling ourselves and others. We can be kind to ourselves. For God, Who said, “Let Light shine out of darkness!” searches the sources of the rivers of hatred or anger or greed or lust… that flow from our heart. Yes, He brings hidden things to Light (Job 28:11).
Those who desire to serve God with wholehearted devotion and a willing mind, He will search our heart for He understands every motive behind our thoughts. If you choose to seek God, He will be found by you. However, those who forsake Him, He will reject them forever! (1 Chronicles 28:9-10). How many times our heavenly Father asked WHY?
Why do My people say, ‘We are lords,
We will come no more to You.’

Why do they spend their money on that which is not bread,
And their earnings for what does not satisfy?
Hearken diligently to Me, and eat what is good
Let your soul delight in fatness
In the profuseness of spiritual joy!

Why should you get puffed up and destroy yourself
With presumptuous self-sufficiency?
Why should you die before your time
Demanding and self-righteous
Willful and foolish and overly wicked

Why do you keep looking at the speck in someone else’s eye,
And pay no attention to the beam that is in your own?

Faith and trust in God enables us to remain focused on His goodness! To look up, not down or at all the circumstances or problems that surround us. Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, or His ear too dull to hear! Our iniquities separate us from our God! Isaiah 59:1-2.
Holy Spirit will answer our questions, but we must be willing to work with Him so fear and deceit and confusion… can be identified and reconciled and released.
By doing so the Word of God will be proven to be true and trustworthy, for the Lord will get up and rebuke the winds (what troubles) and the sea (people) so there can be a great and wonderful calm, a perfect peace-ableness (Matthew 8:26 AMP)
Surely, you will understand the words Joseph spoke to his brothers who at one time planned his death: “Don’t be afraid. Do I act for God? Don’t you see, you planned evil against me, but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now — life for many people. Easy now, you have nothing to fear; God will take care of you and your children,” Genesis 50:19-21 The Message.
Yes, God makes His Light shine in our heart to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 4:6), Who says:
“I am sending you to them to open their eyes
And turn them from darkness to Light,
And from the power of Satan to God,
So they may receive forgiveness of sins
And a place among those who are sanctified
By faith in Me.”
Acts 26:17
