God has shown Himself present
Throughout the world

By the sprinkled blood of Christ
Who graciously forgives
And rescues from certain doom
That the Breath of Life
Might be received
The gift of Holy Spirit
Who graciously forgives
Who comforts and encourages
So what the enemy spreads
Excessive sorrow and despair
Won’t overwhelm
Yes, God made the truth of Himself known
Instinctively
He put this knowledge in our hearts
All that He has made – the earth and the sky
Have been seen
His existence and great eternal power

Instead of obedience
Of reverence

Offered to the blessed God

There’s vanity
Instead of the sweet fragrance

An offensive odor
The stench of Death and rottenness
For those refusing to listen

Clinging to a rope leading to destruction
Refusing the girding of the belt of Truth
The breastplate of Righteousness
The breastplate of God’s approval
To face a terrible thing
Punishment
From the living God

For what is dead and empty
