When He ascended on high,
He led captives in His train
And gave gifts to men!
Ephesians 4:8
To each one of us Christ has bestowed the gift of God’s amazing grace (Ephesians 4:7). And, it is from the fullness of His grace that we have all received one blessing after another (John 1:16). For God is faithful, and it is He Who calls us into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ. In Him we are enriched in every way. In all our speech and in all our knowledge of the Lord. God’s Word keeps us strong to the end, so we will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:4-9).
Here are a few words that are synonymous with blameless: Acquitted, absolved, vindicated, in the clear, righteous…
- God treats us all the same; all are acquitted if they have faith (Romans 3:30 TLB)
- Through Him everyone who believes, who acknowledges Jesus as their Savior and devotes themselves to Him, are absolved from every charge and given right standing with God (Acts 13:39 AMP)
- Now we know, since the appearance of our Savior, nothing could be plainer: Death defeated, Life vindicated in a steady blaze of light, all through the work of Jesus (2 Timothy 1:9 Message)
- God sacrificed Jesus on the altar of the world to clear that same world of sin. Having faith in Christ sets us in the clear (Romans 3:25 Message)
- By one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous (Romans 5:19). And the righteous will never be moved; they will be remembered forever (Psalm 112:6 ESV) shining like the sun in the Kingdom of their heavenly Father (Matthew 13:43).
- Therefore, since we are now justified: acquitted, made righteous and brought into right relationship with God, by Christ’s blood, how much more certain is it that we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God (Romans 5:9 AMP)
Because of the work of Jesus, we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that we may declare the praises of Him Who called us out of darkness into His wonderful Light (1 Peter 2:9).
When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had driven seven demons (Mark 16:9).
Demons came out of many people. The demons shouted, “You are the Son of God!” But Jesus gave a strong command for the demons not to speak, because they knew He was the Christ (Luke 4:41 ERV).
However, the Pharisees, the legal teachers of the day said, “This Man uses the power of Satan to force demons out of people. Satan is the ruler of demons.” Jesus knew what they were thinking and said to them, “Every kingdom that fights itself will be destroyed. And every city or family that is divided against itself will not survive. So, if Satan forces out his own demons, then he is fighting against himself, and his kingdom will not survive.”
“I use the power of God’s Spirit to force out demons, and this shows God’s Kingdom has come to you. Whoever is not with Me is against Me. And anyone who does not work with Me is working against Me,” Matthew 12:24-30 ERV).
Praise God, for He has poured out upon us abundantly the grace of our Lord, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 1:14). And I am convinced neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).
Therefore, in view of God’s mercy, heed this appeal to do what is your reasonable, rational, and intelligent service and spiritual worship of God, by making a decisive dedication of your body as a living sacrifice, holy and well pleasing to our heavenly Father (Roman 12:1 AMP).
For all of us who have had the veil removed will not only see how worthy the Lord our God is to receive glory and honor and power (Revelation 4:11) we will reflect the glory of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18). This Truth was evidenced by that same woman Jesus cast seven demons from. Mary Magdalene experienced love as those of us in this world express love. This is why no one could prevent her from expressing gratitude, for she experienced such a vast difference in the love of God.
Unconditional! Nonjudgmental! Merciful! Kind! Compassionate! Forgiving!
The love of God touched her heart and transformed her way of thinking, believing, living. Ignoring the fear and anger, accusation and repulsion of those men who were gathered with Jesus, her actions reflected the glory and honor and power of Love.
Jesus said, “Do you see this woman? I came into this house and was not given any water for My feet, but she wet My feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. I was not given a kiss in greeting, but this woman has not stopped kissing My feet. Oil was not poured on My head, but she has poured perfume upon My feet.”
“Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven – for she loved much. Those who have been forgiven little, loves little (Luke 7:44-47)
Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven,
Whose sins are covered!
Blessed are they
Whose sin the Lord will never count against them!
Romans 4:7-8
